Remove the skin from the zucchini, rinse, cut in half and cook in salted water for about 10 minutes until “al dente”. Then scoop out the vegetables and place them in a buttered gratin dish. Set aside the scraped out zucchini flesh. Rinse shallots and cut into small slices.

Heat butter in a frying pan, sauté shallots in it, add scooped out flesh, season heartily with spices and simmer on low heat for 5 min.

Then add the well drained shrimps, garlic and parsley, mix and heat the whole just briefly. Fill the zucchini halves with a quarter of the mixture, spread the cheese evenly on top and sprinkle with a pinch of cayenne pepper.
