For the whole spelt pancakes, first melt the butter. Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with the flour, a pinch of salt and half of the milk.

Mix the melted butter with the remaining milk and stir into the batter. Whisk well and let swell for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the pancake pan and spread some oil in the pan. Spread a ladle of pancake batter evenly in the pan with the pusher.

Turn only when the pancake makes bubbles (then the pancake comes off very easily). Finish baking and for the next whole spelt pancake spread some oil in the pan again.

The recipe is enough for 6-8 pancakes, depending on the size of the pan.

Preparation Tip:

The wholemeal spelt pancakes taste even better, especially with hearty filled pancakes.
