For the whole wheat gingerbread cats, mix all flours on a pasta board. Mix the baking soda, drinking chocolate powder and spices into the flour.

Make a pit in the center and pour in the melted butter, honey and eggs. Knead everything into a dough. Let rest in the refrigerator overnight.

Roll out on a floured board and cut out the cats. Place on a greased baking tray and brush with milk. Bake at approx. 180 °C.

Let cool and store in a tin. The recipe makes 3 trays of wholemeal gingerbread cats.

Preparation Tip:
