Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a loaf pan with baking paper.

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks.

Sift flour with cinnamon and baking powder and stir in. Gently fold in nuts and chocolate chips.

Finally, whip the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and put it in the hot oven for 50-60 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

We used hazelnuts for the nut cake, but of course it also tastes good with other types of nuts, such as almonds.
