For the tarte flambée, preheat the oven to 220 °C top/bottom heat. Roll out the tarte flambée dough and cut into 8 equal pieces. Place in the oven on the lowest shelf.

Bake for approx. 10 minutes. Roughly mash avocado flesh with a fork and sprinkle with lemon juice. Season with chili powder, salt and pepper.

When the dough has some dark bubbles on the bottom, turn the dough pieces and continue baking briefly. Cut the washed tomatoes into slices.

While still warm, spread the pieces of tarte flambée with the avocado and top with tomato slices, folding them together.

Preparation Tip:

The tarte flambée can be varied over and over again with other ingredients or made any number of different ones.
