Instructions:

For the spice cake, make a batter with butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, salt, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, flour, pudding powder and baking powder.

Grate chocolate and lastly fold into the batter with the milk, it should be quite firm. Pour into a cake pan (24 cm) and bake at 180-200 °C medium heat for about 50-60 minutes.

Cover with newspaper after 30 minutes to prevent the cake from burning. Let the cooled cake cool briefly in the pan and turn it out.

Sprinkle cooled cake with powdered sugar.
