A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Cream the butter with the sugar, then mix in the yolks gently. Beat the egg whites until stiff and stir them in. Finally, fold in the parsnips and the breadcrumbs. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured baking pan and bake at 180 °C for 35 to 40 minutes.

The cake tastes best lukewarm. As a small dessert it is served with fruit and ice cream.
