Instructions:

For the Parisian cake, cream butter with approx. 100 g powdered sugar until fluffy. Separate the eggs and gradually add the yolks to the butter-sugar mixture.

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, allow to cool slightly and stir in. Beat egg whites with remaining sugar until stiff and fold into butter mixture.

Mix flour and nuts and stir in carefully. Grease a cake tin (diameter: 22 cm), dust with flour and pour in the mixture.

Bake at approx. 190 °C for 35 minutes. After cooling, cut the cake in two. For the cream, heat the whipped cream, add the chopped chocolate and let it melt.

Allow the cream to cool and then whip until fluffy. Fill the cake with the cream and spread it all around.

Finally, decorate the Parisian cake with chocolate sprinkles.

Preparation Tip:

Parisian cake can also be decorated differently at will. With whole nuts, whipped cream or chocolate decorations (leaves, hearts).
