Instructions:

Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and mix well with the yeast. Make a well in the center. Add the oatmeal, salt and water and knead with a hand mixer on high speed until the dough separates from the bowl and bubbles. Dust with flour and let rise, covered, in a warm place until dough doubles in bulk. Knead again and shape into oval loaves. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut crosswise on the surface, brush with water and sprinkle with oatmeal. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for approx. 25 – 30 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The rolls are good for freezing, but then do not bake until golden brown, but light and finish in the oven when defrosting.
