For the oatmeal macaroons, lightly toast the fat and oatmeal.

Beat egg yolks and honey until creamy. Fold spices and snow into the oatmeal mixture. If using crunchy oatmeal, add flour and baking powder. If tender rolled oats are used, omit them.

Bake the oatmeal macaroons in the preheated oven on a baking tray lined with baking paper at 175 °C for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

Preparation Tip:

The oatmeal macaroons can also be baked without spices.
