Instructions:

For oat pancakes with ham cream first prepare the cream. For this, cut the ham into fine cubes. Mix the cream cheese with the ham cubes and the chives. Season the ham cream with salt and pepper and refrigerate until serving.

For the pancakes, separate the eggs and beat the whites with a hand mixer until stiff. Whisk the egg yolks with the oat bran flakes and milk in another bowl. Stir in the baking powder and salt. Finally, gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Place 2 tablespoons batter per pancake in the pan and bake for about 2 minutes on each side until the pancakes are golden. Remove the finished pancakes from the pan and drain on paper towels.

Repeat with the remaining oil and batter to bake a total of 8 pancakes. Arrange the oat pancakes with ham cream in portions and serve.

Preparation Tip:

You don't feel like oat pancakes with ham cream today, but rather a sweet breakfast? Prepare the batter as described, but without salt. Instead, stir in 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup.
