A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Melt butter in a large saucepan, add eggs, sugar…. Fold in, then mix in the oatmeal – a real tipping together preparation! Place heaps on a greased baking tray with a teaspoon and bake until light yellow (180 °C, 10 min. or so) – they should still be soft.

The aroma unfolds only after 1 to 2 weeks of storage, as far as the cookies have survived the dangerous moment when they are pulled fresh from the stove, uneaten.
