For Manu’s Topfengolatschen, mix flour, dry yeast, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon sugar, a pinch of salt and yolks in a bowl.

Heat milk with margarine and knead into a yeast dough with a dough hook. Let dough rise until it doubles in size.

In the meantime, mix curd cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, starch flour, lemon zest and stir in melted butter.

Then roll out the dough, cut squares and put curd filling on each square. Press all 4 corners together towards the center.

Whisk the egg yolks with the milk, brush the curd cheese golaches and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes until golden.

Preparation Tip:

If you like raisins, make the filling for the curd cheese golaches with raisins.
