Instructions:

For the macaroni casserole with salmon, first cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Grease a loaf pan.

For the dough, knead all the ingredients. Roll out the dough large enough to line the mold you are using. Pour the dough into the mold. Trim the macaroni to fit lengthwise in the mold.

For the egg glaze, peel and finely chop the garlic. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and dice them finely. Pluck the thyme and chop finely. Mix all ingredients for the glaze and season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Now layer the ingredients in the mold. First 1/4 of the egg glaze, then 1/3 of the pasta, followed by another 1/4 of egg glaze and 1/3 of pasta. Place half of the salmon on top. Layer in egg glaze, noodles and salmon again, ending with egg glaze. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.

Place in oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Let the macaroni casserole with salmon rest briefly before serving.

Preparation Tip:

The macaroni casserole with salmon tastes good even cold.
