Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Dough:

Melt the light butter and mix with the sugar. Beat in the egg, then add the flour, baking powder and cocoa and knead gently. Divide the dough into two roughly equal parts.

Filling

Stir or ‘cream’ the soft light butter with the sugar and eggs. Fold in the curd cheese, vanilla sugar and – custard powder and stir everything together well.

Construction Plan:

Grease a cake springform pan very well (light butter probably works best) and sprinkle with enough breadcrumbs. Spread the first half of the dough on the bottom of the pan, raising the edge a little. On top of it form the filling.

Pluck the second half of the dough into small pieces (hence the name) and spread evenly over the filling as a blanket.

Hey, don’t snack too much!

Bake the cake on the bottom rack at 175 °C for about 90 min.

Alternative:

It is just as tasty if you mix only the upper half of the dough with cocoa (but then only 25 g!). Personally, I like this variant better, but it is also connected with a little bit more effort… **
