For the hunter’s stew, first cut the meat into small pieces and mix with the seasoning mixture. Place in an oiled roasting pan. Place the cheese slices on top. Cut the leek into fine strips. Empty the mushrooms from the can and drain well. Peel the onions and chop them finely.

Then spread the leek over it, on top of it put the mushrooms. Fry the bacon and the onions. Let cool and spread over the mushrooms. Mix the hunter’s sauce with the cream and spread it over the meat pot.

Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for a day. Then cook the hunter’s pot in the oven at approx. 190 °C for approx. 2 hours with the lid closed.

Preparation Tip:

As a side dish to the hunter's stew is suitable bread, pasta or rice.
