For the kettle goulash, cut the meat into cubes of about 2 cm. Sauté the onions in clarified butter until translucent, add the bacon and fry.

Add the paprika cubes and then the meat and fry well. Add the spices and garlic, deglaze with water and simmer on low heat.

Keep stirring and add water if necessary. After about 15 minutes, add the potatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Bread goes well with the kettle goulash. The longer the goulash has to simmer, the better it will be - so allow enough time!
