For the quick Kriecherl stain, first wash the Kriecherl and dry them well. Remove the seeds with a knife and cut the fruit in half. Mix a jam of your choice (e.g. Kriecherl, plum or apricot jam) until smooth. Roll out the finished puff pastry, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread generously with the jam.

Arrange the Kriecherl halves closely on the puff pastry. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, cut into square pieces and serve the quick Kriecherl-Fleck lukewarm.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, you can mix the jam for the quick Kriecherl spot with a little rum and spread it on the puff pastry.
