Instructions:

First, gently wipe the eggs with vinegar water to remove unsightly discoloration.

Cut off approx. 10 cm long pieces of pantyhose, add herbs and 6 pieces of string.

Now press a small, beautiful parsley leaf (or another herb leaf) onto each egg and pull the pantyhose over it so that the leaf remains smooth and lies close to the egg.

Pull the tights tight and tie them with a splits in the back. It is important that the herb leaf is not loose, but lies tightly against the egg so that no paint can run underneath.

Place the onion skins in a pot along with the eggs and pour hot water until the eggs are covered. Add vinegar to help the color hold. Cook on the stove for about 20 minutes.

Carefully lift the eggs out of the onion broth and let cool briefly. Then carefully remove the pantyhose and herb leaf and the red Easter eggs are ready for the Easter basket.

Preparation Tip:

The red Easter eggs will shine even brighter if you sprinkle a few drops of oil on a piece of kitchen paper and rub it on the Easter eggs.
