For the curd strawberry dumplings, mix the butter until soft and add the egg. Add semolina, flour and curd cheese and stir until smooth. Flavor with 2 tsp cane sugar, vanilla pulp and lemon zest. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes.

In the meantime, wash the strawberries and remove the stalks. Form dumplings from the curd mixture and fill each with a strawberry. Mix the remaining strawberries with 3 tsp. cane sugar and some vanilla pulp with a hand blender to a fruit puree and set aside.

Now steam the filled dumplings in the steamer at 100° C for 10 minutes.

Mix poppy seeds and powdered sugar and roll the cooked curd cheese and strawberry dumplings in it.
