For the curd cheese cake, beat the eggs and separate them.

Beat the yolks, butter, grated lemon zest, sugar and vanilla sugar until well fluffy. Stir in the curd by the tablespoonful.

Mix the flour with the pudding powder and baking powder and stir into the curd mixture until it becomes a very compact mass. Beat the whipped cream and stir into the curd mixture. Pour the mixture into a Gugelhupf baking dish.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160° for about 1 hour.
