Separate the egg. From the vanilla sugar, sugar, egg yolks, cocoa powder, butter flour and baking powder quickly knead a smooth dough. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and form into finger-thick rolls. Brush them with egg white and sprinkle with sugar and almond kernels. Place the rolls on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Bake for about 12 minutes. Cut the sticks diagonally into 1 cm thick and 4 cm long pieces. Cool.
