Instructions:

Bring sugar and water to a boil and pour over the washed and pitted cherries. Leave to cool for 24 hours, then divide evenly into glasses, each with a sprig of peppermint and fill with Maraschino.

Store cooled for at least 4 weeks before serving, e.g. chocolate ice cream, or simply fish them out of the jar.

Tip: Do you prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Depending on the case, use whichever tastes better to you.
