For the cheese hearts, sift flour with baking powder into a bowl. Make a well in the center, pour in the whipped cream and mix a little with the flour.

Spread butter in flakes and grated Emmentaler on top and quickly mix everything until smooth.

Put in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Then roll out to a thickness of half a cm and cut out hearts. Preheat the oven to 220°C.

Line a baking tray with baking paper, place hearts on it. Whisk yolk and milk, brush hearts with it.

Sprinkle with almond halves, chopped pistachios, caraway seeds, poppy seeds or papirka to taste. Bake the cheese hearts for 15 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

If you like you can also use parmesan for the cheese hearts.
