For the cheese chips, cut approx. 4-8 Emmentaler slices per serving into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the cheese pieces on it. Preheat the oven to 200 °C and bake the cheese pieces for 10 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is no longer liquid but already firm in the oven.

Preparation Tip:

If you like it spicier, you can also season the cheese chips with paprika powder or curry. Fit well on salad or simply as a snack to nibble.
