For the caramelized pineapple, peel the pineapple, cut out the core and dice the flesh. Melt the butter and caramelize the sugar in it.
Add the pineapple cubes and the liqueur and toss everything until the sugar has completely dissolved. Serve the caramelized pineapple still hot together with the caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
