For the caramelized banana split, first roughly chop the chocolate. Peel the bananas and cut them lengthwise.

Whip half of the whipped cream until stiff.

Caramelize the sugar in a pan, turn the bananas in it (they should not become too soft). Remove and set aside.

Mix the caramelized sugar with the remaining whipped cream. Stir in chocolate until completely dissolved.

Place bananas on a plate and serve with chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Sprinkle caramelized banana split with brittle and garnish with a cocktail cherry.

Preparation Tip:

Caramelized banana split can also be prepared with other types of ice cream. Best served with ice cream wafers or hollow hips!
