For the bun sun preheat the oven to 190 degrees top/bottom heat. Mix flour with sugar and salt.

Add oil. Crumble yeast over it and add approx. 300 ml lukewarm water. Knead the dough until it loosely separates from the edge of the bowl.

Add a few drops of water if necessary. The dough does not need to rise, but can be baked right away. Shape the dough into 8 equal-sized balls of dough.

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, close together in a circle. Spread the dough with yogurt and sprinkle alternately with sunflower seeds and sesame seeds.

Bake the bun sun for approx. 25 – 30 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The bread rises very strongly. No crust is formed (because of the yogurt). This keeps the bun sun juicy and fluffy and tastes very fresh even the next day.
