Stir buckwheat, egg and salt with milk to a dough and let swell for 15 min. Then add the baking powder and whipped cream and mix. Bake small pancakes in hot fat until done. In the original recipe, 1/4l of black coffee was used instead of milk, which made the pancakes darker and tastier. Today, the milk is used instead and two pancakes are served with a tablespoon of maple syrup.
