For black and white brownies, first grease a baking pan and sprinkle with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Break both types of chocolate into small pieces and melt in separate bowls with 100 g butter each over a water bath. Allow to cool slightly.

Beat eggs with vanilla sugar and sugar until light and fluffy. Divide the mixture between two bowls: Put the dark chocolate in one bowl, the white chocolate in the other bowl and fold each into the egg mixture. Mix flour, baking powder and nuts, fold half of it into the dark batter, the other half into the light batter.

Smooth the dark batter in the pan, spread the light batter on top. Bake in a hot oven on the second rack from the bottom for about 35 minutes. Let cool.

Cut black and white brownies into square pieces and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy warm or cold.
