Instructions:

Prepare the pasta in salted water al dente. Meanwhile, cut the cooked ham into fine 5 to 8 cm strips and dice the onions. Heat clarified butter in a high frying pan. In the meantime, pour the cooked pasta into a colander and drain well. Sauté the ham strips and onions in the frying pan until they have taken on a slight color. Add pasta, mix everything together. Season with pepper from a pepper mill, maybe add salt. Then add the eggs one by one and stir well into the pasta mixture until they set. If you like, you can add a little fresh herbs.

Serve with a fresh leaf salad or a mixed Bavarian salad consisting of Bavarian potato salad, white cabbage with tomatoes, bacon cubes, lettuce, cucumbers and grated radish and carrots.

It is important to have a leaf salad as a side dish, because otherwise the meal might taste a bit too monotonous when eaten separately. By the way, I still know this dish from my childhood, so it’s definitely a little bit for kids! Duration of preparation: about 15 min

Our tip: Use bacon with a fine, smoky note!
