Instructions:

For the apple tart, first prepare the short pastry.

For the short pastry, quickly knead the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg(s) and flour into a smooth dough.

For the apple mixture, peel, core and chop the apples. Cook with sugar, rum and cinnamon in a hot pan for 10 minutes.

Stir several times.

For the crumble, knead flour, sugar, butter and vanilla sugar into a dough (until small lumps form).

Butter a springform pan (Ø 28 cm), dust with breadcrumbs and line with the shortcrust pastry up to the edge.

Pour the apple mixture into the short pastry lined pan and generously spread the crumble on top.

Bake the apple tart in the preheated oven at 175 degrees convection oven for about 45 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

If you don't like raisins in your apple tart, just leave them out.
