To make the oatmeal soup, add the oatmeal to the cold water or vegetable soup, stir well and bring to a slow boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring repeatedly, until soup is the desired plumpness.
Strain through a sieve if desired. If necessary, season the oatmeal soup with salt.
Preparation Tip:
If the oatmeal soup is not served as a very strict diet food, you can also cook small cubes of vegetables.
