For the chips, peel the potatoes and cut them into very thin slices. It is best to use a paring knife for this.
Brush the skewers with olive oil and stick the potato slices on them. There should be a small space between the slices.
The ends should be left free. Place the finished skewers with the ends on a soup plate so that the chips do not rest on the bottom.
Brush the potato slices with very little olive oil and microwave at 800 watts for 6-8 minutes.
Remove from microwave and, slide into a bowl, off the skewer. Salt the chips and serve.
Preparation Tip:
The more skewers made at once, the longer they will take. Two skewers take about 6 minutes, four skewers take about 8 minutes.
