Cut the herrings into small pieces. Cooked and peeled Kipfler, peeled apples, pickled gherkins, onion and capers cut into small cubes.
Put everything together in a bowl. Mix cream, mayonnaise and a little vinegar and add to the other ingredients with the beans.
Let the herring salad stand for at least 2 hours.
Preparation Tip:
As an alternative to the kipfler, other potatoes are also suitable for the herring salad.
