Bring water to a boil. Cook the dried rose hips in it for twenty to thirty minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve.
Then mix the puree with the sugar and make it until it becomes stiff.
Spread it finger-thick on a flat plate. Dry. Keep turning to the other side as you do this. This may take a couple of days.
Then use very finely chopped orange and lemon peel and enough powdered sugar to roll out the amount.
With a thimble cut out small sugar cubes, which you roll in sugar and let dry repeatedly in the air.
