Put the pitted rose hips in a suitable bowl, pour liquid, cover and leave in a cool place for 8-10 days, stirring daily. Then pass through the passevite.
Put the honey (same mass as rosehip pulp) in the water bath until it is liquid. Caution: the water must not be warmer than 40 °C , otherwise the healthy active ingredients of the honey will be destroyed. Mix the liquid honey very slowly into the rosehip pulp (takes about 1 hour), put it into clean, dry jars with screw tops, close them and keep them in the cool cellar.
Our tip: Use sweet red wine for a sweet note and rather dry wine for flavorful, spicy dishes.
