For the green spelt dumplings, bring water (about 1/8l) and butter to a boil. Add the green spelt flour and stir firmly with a wooden spoon until a firm dough is formed.
Let the dough cool a bit and stir or knead in the remaining ingredients. Form small dumplings from the dough with wet hands and place in a boiling clear soup and cook.
Serve the green spelt dumplings with soup and chives.
