For the blackberries in syrup, wash the blackberries, pat dry and add sugar. In a saucepan over low heat until liquid, remove the blackberries and set aside.
Bring the liquid to a boil over low heat and reduce by half. Add the blackberries, boil once and pour into jars and seal.
