Instructions:

Slice walnut-sized piece of fresh ginger Lightly rinse strawberries, remove stem and cut into quarters.

Cut tomatoes without juice into cubes, chop chili peppers very small.

Cut the orange peel into small pieces and chop, squeeze out the juice. Cut ginger into thin slices.

Stew strawberries with all ingredients in a saucepan without lid for half an hour – then serve with fish or possibly meat or eat on lightly toasted brown bread.

Tastes just as good cooled down.

Ideal accompaniment: roasted salmon fillet, roasted pork fish or short fried minute steaks of beef from roast beef.
