For the fitness rolls, mix together wholemeal flour and wholemeal groats. Crumble the yeast over it, add honey and salt and knead with the milk and water to a smooth dough.
Then cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Add the finely shredded carrots and knead into the dough. Form the dough into a long roll and cut it into 12 equal parts.
Then flatten these parts into rectangles, brush with a little water and sprinkle with the oatmeal. Cover the rolls again and let them rest on the baking sheet for 15 minutes.
Bake the fitness rolls in a preheated oven at 190 °C for approx. 20 minutes.
